I have a degree in biology from the University of Oviedo (Asturias). I have always pursued the study of fundamental biology and genetics. During my studies I performed several practices in pathology services and an internship in the assisted reproduction unit of the University Hospital in Asturias (Spain). These practices made me decide my future, continuing my studies with the completion of a master’s degree in Biology and Technology of Reproduction. My Master Thesis was supervised by Dr. Felipe Martínez in INDEGSAL (University of León). It was based on the study of the rate of aneuploid cells present in samples of human and boar semen, using flow cytometry.
I currently plan to enter a doctoral program for continuing my training and research in reproductive biology.
